The library possesses an excellent auditorium/ exhibition hall, which is being frequently used for organizing exhibitions, displays and holding seminars on the promotion of library science and research methods. Conferences, workshops, symposia and lectures are regularly arranged to improve professional knowledge and skill, and exchange of ideas. Associations of professional librarians are welcome to discuss, adopt, support and promote various proposals for development of libraries and library services. The library extension services include film showing, displays, seminars and exhibitions. Thus not only reference and research facilities are provided, but arrangements are also made for cultural and literary gatherings.
