Introduction

The Quaid-e-Azam Library is the most prestigious library in Lahore and Punjab province of Pakistan. It is situated in the pleasant environment and cool atmosphere of the Bagh-e-Jinnah at Shahra-e-Quaid-e-Azam. It is meant to serve as a general center of reliable information and to provide opportunity and encouragement for research scholars. Special attention is paid to provide textbook facilities for university students. It is extensively used by students and scholars. It is predominantly a non-lending library. However, photostat facility is available at reasonable rates. Named after the father of the nation "Quaid-e-Azam" this institution is a landmark in the development of Pakistan. Its building is a model of classical architecture of mid 19th century.
